Our school camps are fully catered and with all the action going on our chef ensures that your group gets all the nutritional requirements while on camp and are well fed.
At Vertical Horizon we a total of 201 beds in modern, comfortable accommodation; with own toilet and shower in the rooms. Check out our facilities page for an overview of accommodation.
Safety
At Vertical Horizon we ensure that all safety measures and contingencies are implemented regularly evaluated and reviewed. Our equipment and facilities are all up to New Zealand Health and Safety regulations and our activities all comply with Safety Audit Standard for Adventure Activities. All instructors go through site specific training.
Primary & Intermediate 24/7 Adventure School Camps ( 7 years old and above)
At Vertical Horizon we take all the camp pressures off you. Our trained staff ensure that your program will fit the educational needs of your students. Your camp will be fully instructed and catered.
Our 24/7 Adventure camps will provide your students with 6 hours per day of instructed adventure based fun and games.
We have an impressive range of onsite activities like kayaking, waterslide, high ropes, grass karts and heaps more so even the most energetic student will be exhilarated yet ready for bed at the end of the day.
Not only are the days jam packed with fun but your evening program can be just as jam packed. Take the kids to check out the glow worms or take advantage of our huge areas for spot light. We also have a Campfire Island for toasting marshmallows and there is also the night line.

Outdoor Adventure Camps
This camp encompasses all the great attributes of the 24/7 Adventure camp but we up the extensiveness of activities to provide great challenges and learning opportunities for high school students.
Students are involved in a carefully planned activity schedule that promotes fun, teamwork, challenge and excitement.
The Outdoor Adventure Camps includes all the activities provided for the 24/7 Adventure camp but includes the Senior High Ropes.
Outdoor Adventure Camp programs range from 1 day – 5 days
